BBC Children in Need´s vision is that every child in the UK has a safe and secure childhood and the chance to reach their potential. The charity will realise this vision by supporting and publicizing work that addresses the challenges that children and young people face and work that builds their skills and resilience. Reaching Communities: Thanks primarily to five years of funding from The National Lottery Reaching Communities programme,we are now able to sustain and develop our community centre in order to provide and facilitate positive, life changing activities for our visitors and participants. Our own Children and Young People’s activities are supported by Children in Need to cover provision for children from ages 6-15 years old (school years 2-10).

Between 2018-2023, we aim to have reached at least 450 children and young people who will tell us that by attending an activity at our fabulous community centre, they have improved their health and wellbeing here.

We want to offer a diverse and accessible community hub so that children and young people
can improve their fitness, wellbeing and confidence and to have a good start in life.

Park Farm Community Centre is the hub of the Carr Mill, Clinkham Wood and Moss Bank estate.
We provide space for a range of activities aimed at children and young people which are
regular, affordable and great for improving your health and wellbeing.

Bloom Baby Development

Thursdays Busy Bees: 9.45am – 10.30am Caterpillar Club: 11.00am – 11.45am and 12.15am – 1.00pm Multi-award winning, highly interactive baby development classes for babies aged 6 weeks - 14 months. Activities incorporate bright, colourful props, twinkly lights, beautiful parachutes, instruments, messy play, bubbles, and Makaton. Contact: (www.bloombabyclasses.com)

Dinky Dancers

Tuesdays 10.00am – 10.45am and 11.15am – 12.00pm Pre-school dance classes (18ths – 4yrs) for you and your little ones. Have fun, get fit, and enjoy quality time. Children will thrive in this environment. Contact: Laura Hines (07922 072282).

Clair’s PMP ADHD Youth Club

Mum & child fitness classes.

Wednesdays 10:15pm-11:15am Mum & child fitness classes. Sweaty Mama is a unique way to exercise with children. It’s a fun workout to upbeat music. We are a specialist in pre and post-natal exercise classes. Mamas get to bond with their little ones and make precious memories. Strengthen your core to rehabilitate your body after having a child.     (Term Time Only)
    Monday to Friday
    Pickup Patrol, A Pickup service and recreational club provision for all children at Carr Mill Primary School. We will collect your child at 3pm and offer fun, creative and physical play activities until 4.30pm. Session includes a light warm meal.

  • Temple Martial Arts Kickboxing
    Sunday
    1:30pm - 2:30pm for children under 12 years
    2:30pm - 3:30pm for over 12 years

    Confidence and Discipline, Effective Self Defence, Life and Social Skills, Non-Contact Pad. Two Classes:

    • Kickboxing Children Martial Arts (Children under 12 years)
    • Adult and Teen Martial Art(Children over 12 years)

  • Boxing Tots (King Boxing Classes),

    5:15 pm - 6:00 pm
    Non-Contact Boxing For Boys & Girls aged 3-7 years Boxingtots sessions are totally non-contact boxing classes for children aged 3 to 7 and are specially designed by professional boxing coaches and primary school teachers. We focus on co-ordination, social skills, self-confidence, teamwork, discipline and physical well being.
