What do we want to do for older and vulnerable people?
- Helping our older and most vulnerable people is another priority of ours. Age UK reports show that the population of over 65s in St Helens / Moss Bank are at ‘very high risk’ of loneliness.
- Our own consultation with families and older people accessing our services indicate a greater need for social activities, more often, and with greater diversity of choice.
- Maintaining a healthier lifestyle is also important, which is why we work in partnership to offer a weekly leisure activity throughout the year; as well as creative and artistic classes to provide a fun, creative outlet whilst making friends.
