This funding is for another three years and will ensure that children and young people in Moss Bank are supported, encouraged and have opportunities for play, social engagement, skills development and community involvement.Thank you !!!
As an independent charity, we depend on funding to keep our doors open year in, year out. Here is a list of some successful funding bids we have secured. Bids take a long time to put together and maintain, it’s a never-ending process of applying and monitoring, but without this vital work, we would not be here. Amount: £2,600

This grant will fund some online safeguarding training for members of staff and some craft packs for children and young people who are isolated at home due to Covid-19 (2020).

A project is being prepared to preserve the experiences , thoughts and feelings about life in lockdown which will be preserved in the form of a time capsule which will be buried by the children in the garden of our centre .

lcr-Park Farm Community Centre

Amount: £5,000

LCR Cares awarded a total of £5,000 in May 2020 during the Coronavirus epidemic. Our bid focused on providing our local communities most vulnerable people with emergency food parcels over 6-8 weeks.

With help an amazing team of volunteers and staff, we delivered a total of 359 packages, supporting a total of 115 families in an unprecedented time.

The Elizabeth-Park Farm Community Centre

Amount: £3,000

This funding was awarded in November 2019, and will help us to start a new weekly social and luncheon group for older people in the local area for the next twelve months.

Radio-Park Farm Community Centre

Amount: £1,500

This funding was awarded in November 2019, and will allow us to teach attendees of our Youth Club to cook, giving them a skill for life which will help families eat more healthily, budget and get a sense of achievement that they have created meals themselves.

LCVS-Park Farm Community Centre

Amount: £2,000

This funding was awarded in November 2019 , and will enable us to start a new 12-month ‘cooking on a budget’ project to local residents in Spring 2020.
