In March 2023, The Albert Hunt Trust contributed funds towards our Community Engagement role who helps to organise activities, engages with local residents, groups and organisations. This ensures that our programme is need led and responsive to the community.
As an independent charity, we depend on funding to keep our doors open year in, year out. Here is a list of some successful funding bids we have secured. Bids take a long time to put together and maintain, it’s a never-ending process of applying and monitoring, but without this vital work, we would not be here. We want to thank all our funders, particularly the ones below for their continued support, and the trust they put in Park Farm Community Centre to deliver projects for our community.
Amount: £303,676
Amount: £303,676
This funding was awarded in August 2018 and has been one of the biggest achievements so far for Park Farm ACYP. It enables us to employ a full time Centre Coordinator to expand our current work, develop new activities and extend opening hours, and cover many running costs.
The funding also allows us to employ a part-time Caretaker & Maintenance Assistant who will be integral in ensuring that the building is well cared for and staffed during the evening.
Amount: £3,500
This funding was awarded in January 2018 over the span of twelve months.
The Co-op Local Community Fund helped raise much needed support for our Fit Forever Over 60s group which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of older people in our community.
The grant was used to cover the cost of venue hire which helped keep the group running and continues to!
